That Day Called Valentine's day!

Me dear all…. That was the day…the day where everything was at the most opposite poles, people happy, others sad thinking about somebody, someone going for a romantic dinner out, someone with an Iceland meal for one.
Well but what was this holiday about? A commercial idea to make our weak economy going a  bit better? Probably. Truth is, most of us don't even know why is it called Valentine's day.Well me neither but i read somewhere something happened to a guy called Valentinus while ago that actually i don't really care. So yesterday i went out for dinner, with a "friend" just to catch up a bit and on my way back home, i passed throughout Gayland Soho, and be honest i didn't actually see many homos celebrating it. Maybe we are not really up for this holiday  or… maybe there are no couples around! So when i got home, honestly I had a romantic attack and with some James Blunt's "Goodbye my lover" at the background I wanted to see what the photography world on the web has to offer about Valentine's day and i found some of the most beautiful pics i I ever seen on this lovely blog "theunbearabletruthfeareatsthesoul.blogspot.com" which deserves a little space in mine! Let me know what you think of Valentine's day, crap, love it, hate it, enjoy it, makes you sick….. and enjoy the pics!

Sydney I love you but... Do you love me?

For all you, readers of my super neglected blog, I am writing this little post about my arrival to Sydney, kinda of hilarious.Well, let's begin with the journey, that was not one of the best. I flew with korean air that offered me for lunch rice with pickles and the most weird tasty sauce that still today i am wondering where it was made from, called Bimbimbap. (Dunno why but i thought i was eating rice with Bambi in it) I watched so many times Braveheart that now my scottish accent is totally impeccable (FYI Paul Travers)Of course in the middle of night to be woken up by one of the cabin crews spilling a hot tea down on your crotch, burning your penis, is an experience that I could't miss to tell you guys! Cabin crew: "Sorry sir, Turbolence"Me: No problem… It happens (you mother fucking bitch, i need to use this tool for the next 15 days)

                                                                 These girls are Evil!

Here I am now, in Sydney, Feeling like it s 9 pm craving for some decent food and…..people are having breakfast! On my way to the Hotel, the taxi driver tries to approach asking me if i have girlfriend back in London waiting for me. Even tho I was tempted to say that i have so many girlfriend waiting for me in London such as, Dennis, Guy, Jerome, Modesto e.t.c  I did't wanna seem too promiscuous. Finally i arrived in front of the Hotel where this old lady, maybe 75, welcomes me saying she is the owner of the place. She asked me as soon as i stepped in if could swap the light bulb in the sitting room. That was that moment i thought: "here i am, I will be baby sitting this mummy for the rest of the holiday". After some hours of sleeping i decided to go and visit the Opera House. As soon i opened my door I found the cat i pet before downstair on my doorstep, in a kind of sleeping position. It was weird, no life signal, no breath. THE CAT IS DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course it seemed to be in one of the episode of CSI , where everybody tried to understand what happened! After that the PET FBI came to take the corps they told her that the cat had a stroke, so all the doubts of me killing the cat fell!

Sunshine outside, so to get some suntan on the beach for the saturday night is a must. The beaches are beautiful and the guys so hot that my mind was enjoying dirty thoughts. Of course A CATCH like me under a palm tree shade cannot be ignored so I got approached by these very good looking guys asking me if i can play volleyball. Well of course i said yes, and told them i am professional back in the UK in the gay team. When they asked me to make a "jump serve", they saw me completely lost! In that moment they realised that the only balls that I make flying are when i get a wank.

After a nice afternoon, socialising (maybe making out with someone), i got in my room ready for a nap. My biological needs urged after i played with all that meat so i was up for a solo in my bed, when the owner came in and opened the door! Well one of the most embarrassing moment of my whole life. ( I think she enjoyed the vision) She apologised saying she would have come back when i was finished my "things". I mean now i do need a proper shrink to erase this trauma off my head!

I' ll keep you posted for eventual traumatizing updates!

Meat Magazine 6, Don't miss it!

Well, everybody knows I am a catch! I can cook, play music, house cleaning, beginner photographer, Italian, romantic, loyal... and recently a model too! I had the pleasure to pose for Meat Zine, produced by the very talented photographer Adrian Lourie, it's one of the few Gay magazine who still keep the art photography first to the sleazyness we are used to these day.

Little preview for all my followers.

Romance, should we bring it back?

Hello readers! here i am now after a nice quiet saturday night out with my friends writing the post for my blog! So last night, between a beer and Amaretto coke (amazing drink, thanks Dennis) we started to talk about how the love life of a gay person was totally different.

My friend G, french gay man in his "early" forties told me some of his experiences when he was younger, how much stronger was back in the day and how much easier was to find a "partner' to share part of your life with. He highlighted the at that time there was not such a thing like Grindr or other gay cruising websites so everything was genuinely brought together by destiny, chance, and that little bit of luck. This meant that you would meet meet guys in the most common of places such as, the Underground, through friends, supermarkets, e.t.c....

Then he explained that at that time there was not the freedom that we are used now, everything was so secret and hidden, so everything was more tasty!
I got so fascinated listening to him how was romantic at that time and it made me wanted to go back in the times imagining myself in Mustang with a hot american guy listening to ABBA!
He reached the conclusion, after we spoke about it, that today people are scared of commitment and even tho they are interested in the guy they are going out with,  they think there is always more and maybe better to get out there….. too much of choice around forgetting about the ROMANCE.

I am aware that today the needs of a gay young man are totally different form the past. Hook ups are a biological need today and sometimes they can turn into great fun but now I am questioning you readers, I am curious and i wanna know what you think about it, listening both sides, all ages men and maybe some girls as well, making comparisons with the straight point of view.

"Hook ups" or "old fashioned Romance"?

Let The GAyMe Begin!

Hello everybody! First I'd like to thank you for spending a little of your PRECIOUS time to read my blog. I introduce a bit of myself now, my name is Luigi (or simply Lui) and as you can assume from my name I am 21 yo Italian Gay man living London for over 4 years now, which they formed me as a person with so many points of view and quite few skills. I do have a huge number of hobbies and passions but I'll mention just some as i don't wanna make you bored, Photography, Art, Gym, Music (I play guitar) and Collecting Dirty Underwear purchased on Ebay (i am clearly joking about this last one!).

Now Of course you wanna know what is this blog about, right? I give you 4 words: SOCIALISING, sharing opinions, thoughts, ideas, and facts happening in a gay person life , ENTERTAINING, after a long day of work no matter you are a bar tender, escort or managing director of a multimillionaire company, you wanna get home and read something intriguing and interesting or simply have a laugh in front of the computer (and I have been told that i am quite good at it), GUIDE, I wanna share  and suggest you readers, places where I have been , to  have an amazing night with friends or a date, to take mama out when she is visiting London (without shocking her with the gay lifestyle), to have a cheap dinner (without being food poisoned) or simply to recommend an amazing movie or album coming up. 4th word.…. i don't  have a fourth word so let's stick with these 3 for the moment!

As gay man i want to highlight this blog is dedicated to gays, straights, bis, and whatever you think you are as i don't wanna preclude my mind to anything as I can learn from everybody  who has an experience to share or something to say.

Now WAKE UP!!! I have almost finished! I hope you will enjoy and read with pleasure my blog and give me a shout if you wanna ever talk about something to my email address!
